JTT Advisory Sdn Bhd is the partner of Norway Connect in Malaysia. Established as a subsidiary company of Salcon Berhad, a publicly traded company on Malaysia’s stock exchange Bursa Malaysia, JTT Advisory is committed to assist Norwegian businesses in their process of internationalisation.
The team at JTT Advisory primarily comprises of specialists with years of experience working with both Norwegian and Malaysian companies as well as government agencies. Backed by former employees of Royal Norwegian Embassy’s Commercial Section and oil and gas experts, our capabilities and strengths covers a broad spectrum of industries such as oil and gas, renewable energy, seafood, aquaculture, ICT as well as fast moving consumer goods.
Our capabilities have assisted Norwegian companies to successfully establish themselves in Malaysia as we connect them to the right people through our network and to navigate the complex and the unfamiliar Asian business culture. We also assist in connecting your business with the right partners, investors and venture capitalists.
In Malaysia, we work closely with the Royal Norwegian Embassy and Malaysia Norway Business Council (MNBC). In addition, our previous portfolio has helped us to establish a strong working relationship with Malaysian government agencies such as Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation (MPRC) and InvestKL.

Joanne Oo is JTT Advisory’s General Manager. She has previously been working as Market Advisor at the Royal Norwegian Embassy’s Commercial Section. Her portfolio mainly covers marketing strategy and communications, as well as promotional activities for the Norwegian Seafood Council. In addition she has experience in animation, ICT, aquaculture and manufacturing.
Cadee Chee is Norway Connect’s Project Manager for Malaysia. Cadee holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality from the University College of Birmingham in the UK. Having worked with renowned hotels chains such as Hilton and Shangri-La Group for the last eight years, Cadee’s experience in the hospitality and tourism industry is a great asset to Norway Connect and its stakeholders.
Ewe Tuan Hai has been assisting Norwegian companies seeking business opportunities in Malaysia for more than 30 years. His sector experience covers the oil and gas, fisheries, renew-able energy and defence industries. He is also the Country Manager for Norwegian Energy Partners in Malaysia and a board member of the Malaysia-Norway Business Council.
Thomas Sjøberg is the Group CEO of Salcon Ventures. He also sits on the board of Malaysia-Norway Business Council. Thomas has been working in Malaysia since 2005 and has set up numer-ous regional offices. Salcon Ventures represents more than 15 Norwegian companies in Asia. Thomas has heavy experience in penetrating the oil and gas market as well as many other sectors.
