Indigo’s CEO Peter Elbers and Norse’s CEO Bjørn Tore Larsen arrived on Indigo’s first Dreamliner flight from Delhi to Bangkok.
On hand to welcome the first Indigo flight operated by Norse Atlantic Airways’ Dreamliner was Norway Connect’s Managing Director Axel Blom and Senior Adviser Pa-pavinee Pimsomrudee as well as Indigo’s Thailand Manager, Patcharin Mehta. The passengers and crew of flight 6E1053 on 1 March 2025 from Delhi were greeted with cake and souvenirs on their arrival in Thailand.
The flight was the first Indigo flight operated by Norse Atlantic Airways Boeing 787-9 signalling the launch of the damp lease agreement between the two airlines. Indigo will lease six such aircraft from Norse using Norse’s pilots and Indigo’s cabin crew. The Bangkok flights are the first operating the leased aircraft which will eventually be switched to Indigo’s new European operation to UK and Scandinavia. The initial term of the lease is six months, extendable up to 18 months.
